Dr. Lucian Thomas, DVM

I’ve followed the path to a highly enjoyable and fulfilling career as both a Veterinarian and a Teacher. 

As a child, I always knew I wanted to be a Veterinarian and felt and showed a deep compassion towards our home pets, and always took good care of them. 

I never felt so passionate about any other profession even though I did try other subjects. When I got accepted into Vet school, I couldn’t be happier. I enjoyed every minute of it and it’s been over 15 years now.

Over the years, I began teaching students who shared this same interests and passion towards animals.

Some of the highlights of teaching has been those moments when they’ve had an epiphany, a breakthrough in their learning process. I have enjoyed seeing their minds working through different problem, when you see their eyes pop open and also, feeling their satisfaction.

It’s so good to be the person to lead them to that moment. That is what makes teaching so enjoyable and fulfilling.
